Winter Tires Help
I currently have 195/65-15 on my car, and use those for the non winter season. I want to buy winter tires to fit the 15" rims that i have now. Can I get 195/50? or how about 205/55? Will wider tire give you more handling in the snow, or less since the tire will be more likely to roll over the snow rather then digging into it (or something like that). Someone please help me on what to do, thanks.

actually, the affinity stock tires worked pretty darn well in the snow out here in chicago last winter. I plan on using the stock tires again this year.

I don't know about deep snow, but some snow and ice sort of call for thinner tyres. Watch some winter events of WRC.

you must be despirate posting 3 times of this damn winter tire thing. just drive slow in the snow. the tires work fine. take it from me, we had a ton of snow last year and earlier this year. save up your money on some cool summer tires for next year.
