Question about A/C 1999 Camaro

Hello,I bought a 1999 Camaro a little over a month ago and I was wondering about a problem I noticed with the A/C.It seems to blow the air only by the feet.I am not good with cars but I do know enough to know the settings on the A/C.I am not sure if I hit something in the car to cause the A/C to only blow the air through the bottom vents or what.I have gone through all of the settings on the A/C and it only blows the air at the bottom.It does blow hot and cold air there is no problem there.If anyone knows of what could be causing this I would appreciate any help out there.Thanks for taking the time to read this and can't wait to see what the problem is.Thanks Horns2002

I'm having the same problem, except my will blow out the top (windshield) vent as well but that’s it. I took it to a little shop and they couldn't find the problem, and its not annoying enough to take to the dealer. If you find a solution I’d love to hear it.

Most likely your problem is with a blend door actuator. These are difficult to change so you may want to take it to a shop and have it looked at.

Hey Zymosan,
I took it to a friends shop and what it was, was the hose in the dash dislocated and the switch that moves the air from the different vents broke.I am sorry not good with the proper terms but he fixed it and it works fine if you want I can have him tell me all the proper terms and then you can take it to your mech and have them fix it.Just email me and let me know.Thanks Horns2002
