supercharger on d16y7

Hey I have a 96 Civic DX (2door coupe), it has a D16Y7 motor in it... I was wondering if it could handle having a Jackson Racing Supercharger on it??? Or how far I am able to push it with Turbo and Nitrous... I heard that it isnt a very strong motor... But would I just be better off putting a new motor in like a B16A2 or B18C and put some performance mods or spending the $4,000 on the Supercharger and Accesories???? Please help...
