d16y5 cam in d16y7?

on mechanic s site it shows a d16y5 from a civic hx is 115 hp. the d16y7 from a civic dx is 106 hp. has any one changed the cam from the hx to dx to get the 9hp?

i highly doubt it will give you the extra 9hp. if you want a real came...there are plenty of companies that make them(Skunk2, Jun, etc) Try considering those before you swap a HX for a DX.

wouldnt work, leftover parts are no good and you would have some extra lobes leftover.
