Did you get to salvage anything from it? The turbo/intercooler perhaps? I didn't think the damage was that bad from your description of the accident... Your really lucky to be ok

Ouch poor Polygon and me. I was on the passenger seat. My ribs still hurt a little bit 3 weeks later. And me and poly were walking like 90 year olds for the first week.

Yeah, everything under the hood is pretty much toast. As for what traspired. Neutrino and I were headed towards a green light at about 45MPH when some stupid punk made a left turn in front of me going about 10MPH. He made the turn like 20 feet from us and I had no way to stop or move. I went head on into him, his excuse was that he didn't see me.

Yeah, most definitely. They even fined him $1500 bucks. It was funny because he told the cop that he couldn't see me. The officer then looks at my car and then looks back at him and says how can you miss that?!? Rolls his eyes and then tells him about his hefty fine.

Yeah, one can only hope. I have seen this same kind of accident four times before it happened to me, and Neutrino was almost in one about a week after we got in this one. Drivers in the state of Utah for the most part are rude or beyond stupid, they should be riding the bus.
