Man...

Sorry about that. Glad to hear you're okay to post, at least.

Insurance taking care of ya? What vehicles will you be looking for?

Well the other guys insurance will pay for it all.

Right now I am lookig for something to get me through school and then perhaps another project car. I am looking at Neons, a Sebring LXi, a 71 Dart, and a 68 Satellite.

Wow, what slim line of choices. How much are you working with?

What happened?!? The way its flat all the way across like that almost looks like you hit a brick wall... but you said the other guy was paying SOOOO... That destroyed your turbo, i'm sure. Do you get reimbursed for that at all cuz those things aren't cheap.

Just reinforces my thoughts of how lucky you are. That was a tough hit. Hope you can get another vehicle soon that will suit your tinkering needs. :smoker2:

Well, a brick wall, it would seem so but;

I was headed towards a green light going about 45MPH when some guy in a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder decided to make a left turn against the light at about 10MPH. He made the turn about 20 feet or so in front of me so all I had time to do was slam the brakes. The wheels locked and I went head on into him. The shock was enough to push his car back into the oncoming lanes and mine bounced back a good 10 feet. Both cars of totaled of course. What I find funny is that his airbag didn't go off and mine did, and I am glad it did or I would be in a lot more pain. My passenger suffered two bruised ribs and I received some cuts, scrapes, and bruises on my knees. I also got some burns on my left arm and it was pinned in between the windshield and airbag, thus why the windshield is broken. I had some cuts and bruises all up my left hand, wrist and arm. This all happened about three weeks ago so we are both fine.

As for the turbo, I am pretty sure I could get to it if I took off the dash. It is most likely been shoved through the firewall. I am positive that anything under the hood is toast including all of my mods though few they were.

As for my slim line of choices, I am more a Mopar fan but plan to have a wide range of cars when I can afford them. Right now I am looking at spending a max of $4,000 but most likely in the threes.
