This has been the best product I've ever put on my machine.

Go to cnet and get a copy of ad-aware. That'll find any spyware on your machine.

I know it's not spyware, I just ran ad-aware last night and cleared anything, besides, the title bar already fixed itself.

Anyways, back to the point of the thread, what wierd things have happened on your computer?

Last time I installed Fallout 2, the icon for the program showed up as a bearded man that I'd never seen before. The icon is supposed to be either the Fallout cartoon character or a radioactive symbol, I can't remember...either way it wasn't supposed to be a bearded man. The next day it changed to the proper icon and I haven't seen the bearded man since. I did printscreen the icon though...

I've had some bizzare screen resizing happen whiile using ATIs tv monitor (older card). The screen would change from 1150 X 860 to 600X 400 and back a few times when I closed the app. That happened in windows 95.

My icons occasionaly change their picture too. My Excell files show the IE symbol etc.

Also once every month or so my pc boots up in 640*480 instead of 1200*1024.

The most random thing though is my pc destroyed DirectX somehow, one day it was working now its not.

Nothing wierd has really happened to my computer, but once at college, I saw a computer spontaniously combust. A student was working at it normally, then all of a sudden flames were shooting out of the case vents and stuff.
