Alright folks, thanks for all your support over the last 6 months or so... Tiger's Den Hobbies has really taken off in terms of the customer Build Services (for those who've been following my work) but we've finally got the store open too.

I want to stress that this is really just a trial run; for example, right now, I'm manually calculating shipping after the purchase in the store is complete. Bit of a hassle for me, but it works for now. But I thought I'd let you guys know about it first, especially the Canadian AF guys, because with a few exceptions us Canucks are hurting for online hobby stores. Note that the store isn't completely filled in yet--I have some Hasegawa products I haven't posted yet, as well as a variety of Tools and Supplies that still need to be added--if you need something and don't see it, feel free to email me or PM me here at AF and ask, I can probably order it!

I have a tentative deal with Aoshima in Japan. Basically, if I can get a good enough first order out to them, they'll see that there's a market here in Canada, and I'll be their retailer here if so. In a few surveys I've done here at AF and at other modeling websites, Aoshima and Fujimi were on the most-wanted list, so I hope they take off well. I've compared my prices with those of American websites, and they're essentially the same (except in Canadian funds) for these items. Clearly the advantage is that Canadian modelers won't have to pay customs and big shipping to get them from the US anymore--and my American customers won't see much in the way of customs either!

So, I hope I can interest some of you in my wares, and keep in mind these prices are in $CDN. As an added bonus, I'm offering a 10% off sale on all items in the store to AF members! When you go through the checkout process in the store, under "Comments" just mention that you're from AF, and that's that!

The only thing I ask for, during this month or so that the store gets on its feet, is your patience--I'm going to try my best to have a couple of big "first orders" for my suppliers, so if the buyers are a little slow to come in, I'm going to try and wait a little to let the orders rack up. This will save on shipping (which keeps our prices down) and will also convince Aoshima that this is a viable market.

Oh, and I also wanted to mention...

A lot of you guys also expressed a need for aftermarket and P/E parts... I am trying VERY hard to get some of these in--particularly Detail Master and Modeltyme Designs. Over the next few months I hope to scratch a deal out with one of them to get these parts for sale in Canada.

Real quick, you have a '77 mustang II listed in the AMT section under Mopar. But yeah it's definitely looking good so far.

Oops haha, thanks. You have no idea how tedious it is to do data entry for eleventy billion model kits. My eyes were bleeding after one 10 hour session of it

I notice alot of those kits have been out of production, are they re-releases, or from your personal stash?

Some from my own collection, most from the supplier that he still has around.
