Try the B+G coilovers. I know Dom can't stop talking about them...oh wait that's because he doesn't have them yet.

Personally... after owning many suspension setups, I must admit the Teins are not as good as the GC/Koni's

The Teins are nice because you can set them very soft.... near stock... but it makes the car feel loose.

I can tell that my old GC/Koni's had WAY less understeer also.

Lets face it.. if you just want to lower you car for looks.. get the Teins. If you want some performance get the GC/Koni's. The Tein type NA is just a "lowering kit" even Tein says that... this is in NO way a performance system.

I regret switching to it.

If you want to lower you car the cheapest way, get lowering springs. If you want to lower it the correct way get the Tein. If you want performance while you're at it I'd go w/ GC's and your choice of struts, or JIC, or B&G

I would get the Konis but I have to get them overseas...and the shipping on those alone are $100 US...thats alot of money...If I can find a local dealer that can contact the US distributor to contact Koni then that would be great...

Tony... where did you get your prices?

Did you call Jason Duty @ Velocity Resources in FL?

They are the one's who did all the initial R&D work w/ Koni and GC to find a working setup for our cars. They prototyped it with Henry's car (PrimeraGT on the forum)

Their price is just under $1000 for the package www.velocityrecources.com

My only complaint about the combo is that they GC's tend to squeek.

I haven't had problems with my GC/Konis squeaking or rattling with at least 10K mi of use, but it did take some head scratching and tweaking to get it that way!

TEIN does have a performance coilover (HA/HR) similar to GCs, but it doesn't look like they have a P10/P11 application for it.

oh, P10... I assumed you had a P11. wooops!!

bb- yah, can't comment on that one since I've never drivin on a GC/Koni's, but if you say so, that must be so.

the NA's have no where near the quality damping of a HA coilover system. I have both and will never consider getting NA's on my car that I drive hard on. but yah, for a 'lowering kit' its probably one of the best.

You have to call them and you have to tell them the type of struts you are going to use too....

Well...

I have a feeling the B&G's will be the best.

Dprotech just got them but they are not installed yet. Once they are maybe he and Jason (has Teins) can meet up and compare first hand.

I really like the fact that they have helper springs. I think this will help out in the front cause once you lower our cars you have virtually no suspension travel in the front. The helper springs could swallow up the micro bumps...

They also look top notch...
