Question sr20det 5spd into auto 240sx

i am thinking about buying a wrecked 91 240sx and doing the sr20det swap. but the only problem is its a slush-o-matic. is it a lot more difficult to convert an auto into manual and what exactly is involved? any feedback would be appreciated.
