WIP: Jordan-Mugen-Honda EJ10 1/24 Revell

This is my current build that goes very, very slowly... Revell kit is a modeling pain - every part has to be corrected, bad fitting all the time. Maybe I had a bad luck with this one.

As pros decals are worth mentioning. They are top notch, probably printed by Cartograf. There are two sets in the kit, which in my case helped me not to commit suicide (one Buzzin Hornet destroyed...)

Dry fitted

You may have had some bad luck but it certainly doesn't show in your model. It looks a real stunner!

Most excellent sir! Did you use the original kit tyres or replace them?

Thanks...

I used original tires, which are quite ok. They are not finished yet. I put on decals but I am going to paint them with Tamiya smoke and semi clear. It looks more convincing than very white decals

Re: WIP: Jordan-Mugen-Honda EJ10 1/24 Revell

You must have an updated kit with the newer tyres then, cause the originals were undersize and horrendously cast. Good on RAG for correcting that problem.

Re: WIP: Jordan-Mugen-Honda EJ10 1/24 Revell

Very nicely done model... though i didnt know revell made this kit.. It seems revell is trying to be the fastest producer of plastic f1 kits... i think they will take over tamiya in terms of having an assortment of f1s out

Re: WIP: Jordan-Mugen-Honda EJ10 1/24 Revell

Short update on my build. I have finished exhausts for Jordan. I used BMF airbrushed with Alclad II Jet Exhaust. Own made pipes look a bit better than Revell's

That looks great, whatever kit problems there were you certainly took care of them. Beautiful job.
