1/25 Revell Mustang GT - SCCA spec

Hi, just finished this kit. I must say, Revell has improved dramatically since 2004. The kit builds like dream.

I have added some things here and there, I modified the body and added the front/rear spoiler using epoxy putty.

I added the roll cage, on-board camera, added some P/E parts here and there, and scratch built some of the engine components.

The paints are acrylics including the clear except the Alclad polished alum. was used for the wheels. The wheels were borrowed from Merc. Benz CLK-GTR kit...

My only disappointment was that pearl mix shows off rough metallic texture even after the surface has been polished... And the hood doesn't look closed well, but that is because I sanded the fender tops little too much when adding the wide body...

Steve

Wow, that looks awesome! Cool build, great finish and that car has one mean look to it.

My only suggestion woul be to shorten the wire on the front hood pins a little.

That paint job is as smooth as glass, I love the subject and the way it all came together!
