Clutch Kick Drift

Havnt really done it much before. Tonight was practicing it around some corners, works really well. Just drop down to second during a hard turn (or right before) drop clutch, acellerate full and immidiatly letgo, sends the back right out perfectly.
ONly problem is it prolly kills my clutch/driveline, so not much more of that

anyone else fool around w/ clutchkick?

I tried that in a pontiac firefly once... FWD doesn't quite work that way though

it only works with rear wheel drives, i guess what clutch kick would probably be the "power over technique" which is basically giving the back wheels so much power that the friction between the tires and asphalt is reduced therefore allowing the car to whip out like that.

Yeah, especially not a firefly... hey, I was 15, and didn't really know how to drive a FWD car!

You gotta remember, the only FWD car I've ever been around for a long period of time was my moms old tercel, and I never got to drive it.

Ok there are 2 typs of clutch style drifting..the clutch kick and the clutch drop

you can pretty mcuh guess what there about by the name

I, when I had a RWD car use a cambo of the faint drift and the clutch kick with a little breaking action to get everything right..

and yes its hard on the drive train..but drifting is hard on everything...even more so when you try my friends new style the 4 wheel inverted drift
