Powershifiting........good or bad

i've been trying this on my civic. when i change gears i leave the gas pedal floored and bearly push in the clutch and off i go into the next gear. it seemed to make a difference. is this good for your car though. and is this a good technique??? i think its called powershifiting

If you are forcing the issue too much, your gonna toast the synchros in the trans.

Woah, I just reread yout post. Don't do that. Even cars that shift without the clutch let up on the throttle or kill the spark to change gears. You're gonna glaze the clutch if you keep that up.

It is GOOD for racing but not good if u keep doing it everytime u drive. Its gonna wear out ur synchros more likely. I only do it when racing.
