Hello, I was wondering if anyone has ever swapped a B18C-R motor into a 2000 Honda Civic EX??
Also, I was wondering if any of you guys would think its worth the extra $3000 to put in a B18C-R motor over a H22A motor?? please let me know... |

are u speakin of the JDM ITR engine or the USDM ITR???
the ITR is cheaper to have swapped than the H22. The ITR is almost a straight drop in versus the H22 which needs custom axles, shift linkage, mounts, etc. I personally think the ITR is a better deal if your just lookin for street applications. but for all out race I'd go with the H22 Becca

All I am looking for is a motor that I can use to run quick quarter mile times and have the car still looking good... Im not going to want to race it a lot, basically it will be a show car, that has nice interior, exterior, and engine...
But would I need to change anything to put the B18C-R motor in the 2000 civic EX??? |

i'd go with the JDM engine. you'll run some good numbers, nice for a street car. i;m almost positive it is a straight drop in.may need like new shift linkage.
