Question '96 Window Lift Motor - Driver Rear

The Haynes manual on replacing this is vague at best; but helpful as opposed to doing this without any guidance.

Both the Haynes manual and the instructions that accompany the replacement motor warn about first securing the spring and/or gearing BEFORE removing the motor.

However the Haynes manual is vague at best, when describing how to achieve this. So I was looking for more direction on how to achieve this with possible pictures.

Before posting, did the "smart" thing and searched the site for related posts and came up with this: http://www.automotiveforums.com/t898...placement.html

According to them this isn't even necessary... but they're referring to a '97, Driver Front.

Can someone confirm what is to be done on a '96 Driver Rear ?

Much appreciated...
