How do you raise the RPM range of a engine??

a new set of cams and springs, along with eliminating the rev-limiter by rechipping the ecu will get you a couple hundred revs before your new self-imposed redline. beyond that it takes diving deep into the engine which gets more expensive with each part. how far do you want to go is the other question.

Cam, valve springs, rockers, new gaskets all over, and most importantly a timing chain, will allow you to raise the RPM range of an engine. How "long" of a cam decides how much power you make and until what RPM you make it.
