The "air breather" you are refrering to is the blow by tube that usually goes to the intake tube to recycle any fumes that get by the rings. Also it keeps the internal part of the engine from buildin up pressure. Is that enough explaination. HEHE

Oh ya they dont do shit if you have one on. They just look better. Actully they give you worse gas mileage if you have one on. But im just talkin from years (9 years) of workin on hondas and chevys I may not know what Im talkin about....:flash:

Both have come so far in the past 10 years. I mean it is now possible to get 30 mpg with a v8. And gettin 300hp and more from a 1.6, 2.0, 2.2 motor and it be reliable as a daily driver... hmmm I love both types of them. Honda cause it just fun to drive and chevys to haul the kids around and just do general day to day stuff. To work on nowdays it is alot easyier to work on hondas sure there small and cramped but pull a couple bolts and the engine is sittin on the ground in front of you. Chevys are alot of engine in a small area and are very hard to work around. Hondas engines you know will last longer GENERALY if ya dont hop it up but its no fun stock. but you ever heaard of a v8 gettin 300,000 miles? very rarly.. so i love both types of cars.. I guess i didnt answer your ??? Ill take my honda!!!!!!!!!!!!!
