Anything worth buying here?

Hi

My local hobby shop bought this entire private collection. I wish I could take the lot, but money is the problem. Anyway I've put my name down for the Ferrari 312 and the F190 (not in the picture). What else should I try scrape money together for? I've never even seen some of these kits!

Re: Anything worth buying here?

That store has some very nice kits. The original Marlboro McLaren M23 is probably the rarest of the kits you have pictured.

IMHO, the nicest model to build there is either the 934 or 935.

If they have a 1/12 Lola T-70 please let me know as I am looking for one, I suspect the shiping from SA may be expensive though..

Re: Anything worth buying here?

If I am right one of the MP4/6 is clear version (maybe I am wrong), that could be valuable to.

Re: Anything worth buying here?

Sorry Technoman, no Lola. And you are right shipping to and from SA is sometimes more than the model is worth!
The mclarens are not clear though. I'm going to reserve the Mclaren M23 right now!

Re: Anything worth buying here?

The M23 is taken butI managed to get the MP4/6 and the two Ferrari's (at a hefty price!). There is a shipment of 1/24th scale coming in today that has the entire Alfa Romeo German Touring car set. I hope a few more surprises come up!
I can't believe onw person owned so many nice kits and now is dumping them!

Re: Anything worth buying here?

OK I got an even bigger shock today! The rest of the collection was delivered! It numbers 3000 (thousand!) kits. Every single Tamiya kit that is out of production is there with at least 3 of each! I was dumb struck!

Re: Anything worth buying here?

Well I blew a large sum of money on this:
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...2/DSC00008.jpg

I've reserved 3x Alfa 155's (Bosch, Jagermaeister, Scuderia), 1 Red Martini Lancia, Fiat 131 Abarth, and a couple of F1 cars to complete my Senna, Schumi collection.
Is there anything you guys may be looking for? I can check and somehow arrange for it to be shipped perhaps?

How much was the ESCI 250SWB racing if I may ask?
