Actually I dont know... but... you can always go with a supra bumper... the last year of the supra.

Your 1989 Escort has a completely different body than the 91-96 Escorts that share the Protege platform, so a Protege bumper will not fit quite as well. However, any good bodyshop should be able to make any bumper from anything fit. If you want decent fitting parts, check out Merkur XR4Ti stuff. The factory double decker rear wing looks great on 89 Escorts, and apparently fits quite well.
