Unhappy Question about my car

I just recently bought a 92 300zx na like only last week. I wondering why the car starts to rattle a little when i go over 60mph. Is my car suppose to do that??? I would think my car is in pretty good condition since it only has like 55,000 miles on it.

My car doesn't rattle at all at high speeds.
Actually it is very stable and has 157,000 + miles on it.

2broke...

Umm did you have a Nissan mechanic check out the car b4? I mean that would have been a logical thing to do. Btw...has the 60k miles check up been done? If not...go do it...timing belt is very impt to get changed...tell them about the vibration/ratlle and hopefully it will be all good later...

Good luck and remember...NA power is not an oxymoron in the Z32 world.

I think some of the shaking is due to the suspension. And I'm not sure if my car had its 60,000 check up yet neither does used car dealership I bought it from. Where can I get information about this kind of stuff?

The guy you bought it from should know whether or not he did it or not...I mean you really cant forget that you did it or not.

If he cannot remember....he didnt.

Another place to find out is obviously the Nissan dealership. They can check and see if you need the 60k check or not.

I recommend that you do the 60k if it hasnt been done...or else you can say goodbye to your engine if that timing belt slips
