A) What else do you have done?

B) What do you want your car to "say"??? If you're going for "go" then get the racing seats. If you want to be show, go leather.

Those are some nice seats! I would love to have some Torinos myself, but trying to keep my interior not too flashy, but wanting better seats, I'm set on finding some Del Sol seats. Preferably with either the blue or gray/silver stripe down the middle.

I've got the ones with a red stripe down the middle.. when I get my milanos they're yours if you want em. The gray ones are out of the S model (baseline). The red stripe is out of the Si and VTEC models, and I'm pretty sure the only sols that got blue stripes were the blue cars.

But yeah I got a deal on the milanos.. $2400 shipped for the pair.

Thank you for the offer SolGrl, since I'm doing a silver and blue theme kinda thing with my interior (nothing terribly flashy though) I dunno how the red stripe Sol seats would look to the blue and silver. =\ I'll keep them in mind though.

BTW, I'm going to be in GA next weekend (10th thru the 12th) to attend my best friend's graduation from Mercer U. in Macon.

Thumbs up

Leather is nice...my b/f has it in his RSX-S, but the problem is that when it is hot...the seat is hot, and also when I wear shorts or skirst I end up sticking to it or sweat (yuck)...when it is winter, it's soooo cold!!! I would recommend getting to racing seats.

That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid, more attention to my interior. The more attention you attract, then the more people will want to take your attention getters. I like the Sol seats because they are way better than my stock 6th gen Civic seats, they are one piece, and they are racing seat like, plus they are genuine Honda, so you can't really go wrong there. if I could afford it, I'd actually get S2000 seats, but that's a bit out of my league right now unfortunately.

Trust me you do not want S2ooo seats. They look nice and hold you in good, but they are the most uncomfortable seats in the world. You can be in them for a while, but for road trips or anything past 2 hours and your back will suffer.

As for leather, like my gf r8cergirl04 was saying they suck. They do burn and make you stick to them during the summer ( especially here in AZ), and in the winter they freeze your ass off. Plus to top it off when going into a hard turn you slide due to the smooth surface of the leather.

I am planning to have my type S seats redone in cloth. I was planning on going with recaros, but I got a nice deal to do my entire interior redone in black with red stiching.

Good luck guys.

And remember...

LEATHER IS THE DEVIL!!!...lol..

I'm not a big fan of leather, I would go with the fuzzy touring seats.

Agreed. Especially in places like So. California where I live where in the summertime one's car can easily get to 150+ degrees inside the car on a hot summer day, you don't want to touch leather or even vinyl for that matter when it's that hot.

Welcome to AF.com forums, Shannon.

I agree w/ the anti-leather girls...I'd go for comfort rather than style anyday! And you'd be putting some towels or something on the leather seats to cover them when it's too hot so you don't fry your legs off-so leather is pointless. Go for the Sparco's!

the leather seats won't be in until the car is retired to show only, and it'll be in a garage when it's not at a show, so it should be ok... and I'm probably gonna have seat heaters wired to them, just for fun. So that takes care of cold, garage takes care of hot. It goes with the interior of my car, which as my dad says, looks sooo money.

It just depends on what you want them for, racing seats are used for show alot too, I personally would go with the racing seats...show and go...anyways, yah, my 2 pennies...
