The 951 is one of the most underated cars in the world. What do you all think about it?

P.S. Who owns a 951?

I'd sorta agree that it's underrated. Especially since it outperforms the equivalent era 911 and is way more comfortable.

But face it, it's a maintenance nightmare. I dumped mine for something durable.

Yea I love driving the 951 and working on it is a pain cause you really don;t have any room there but my car has no problems
Yea it also beats ferraris and some other high class cars of its time

The wonderfull 951

Maintenance nightmare? I guess you're right MikeT! But what do you drive now? Is it possible to drive something else after? (Not that I think this would be the ultimate car, but a muscle-class-car anyway)

Yeah, the 951 is the "944 turbo." It's just that some people refer to it with the internal designation # 951. One major way to tell it apart from a regular 944 or 944S is the front bumper-much smoother and a lot better looking. I know it also has fender flares and a different rear bumper. It may be lowered too, but I don't have proof on that right now.

LOL. Does it help that it's a race car?

No. That's the nastiest paint job I've seen on a racecar! It looks like Barney pooped on it or something, or maybe the driver is a clown...We will never know.

Cool.. i like the 944 Turbo, i even toyed with the idea of getting one myself but i couldnt afford the insurance... Whenever I see american cars that have been imported to the UK they seem to have huuuuuuge bumpers.. is that the case with all your cars?? is it some legal requirement thing???

as for the Diablo, that is one nasty paintjob.

cheers
