Putting 951 engine in 944

Hello, I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what would be involved in putting a 951 engine in a 944 NA car. What all would need to be different, the engine would go in but could the clutch and tranny be use off the 944. How about the fuel system, would i need the pressure regulaters, pumps, injectors off the turbo engine also? How about the computers, i would need a klr and probably the turbo dme. Would i also need all the other electric sensors in the engine from the turbo? Please help, Thanks

John

good thing to do is change the tranny with a tranny from a 944 S or 944 S2...

You would need the complete engine, torque tube, transmission, DME and wiring harness. You could use the engine alone, without the 951 tranny, but it wouldn't last long at all...

It's all just bolt in work, but it's time consuming.

My lugnut requires more torque than your LS1 makes.
