Is this a new kit from Aoshima???

I ordered this last week and received notification that it was shipped today. The website mentioned that it came out 8/7/2006 but it was backordered for a brief time.

I owned one of the 1978 Dodge Challengers back in the day that was based on this car. Never thought I would see a model of it. Here's a pic from a vintage Dodge advertisement with the two toned silver and charcoal car that got me through five years of college.

I'll post pics of the contents after I get it if anyone is interested.

Marc

Cool! I like to see cars that few people remember.

Good luck converting it to US-specs, shouldn't be too hard (judging by the pics).
Would love to see it finished.

I'm pretty sure it's a reissue, but I haven't seen one of them in forever. I really thought they were cool looking cars "back in the day".

Where'd you find it? HLJ doesn't seem to carry it.

I got it from Hobby World International.

It says it's backordered and did so last week when I ordered mine. I got notification that mine shipped on Monday.
