COMPLETE; Toyota Corolla WRC Rally di Monza 2003 #46 Rossi
It's been 12 weeks since I posted anything complete and in that time I have been slowly working on this model.
Most of you will be aware that Rossi's other love is rallying. In 2002 his much publicised outing on Rally GB ended in a ditch...In 2003, 04 and 05 he did the single venue Rally di Monza in Corrola's and laterly an Impreza. Here's the actual car..  My model is created from Tamiya's Corolla kit, Studio 27 decals, and some etched catches from Crazy Modeller. Largely biult from the box I made some minor changes to the body to reflect Valentino's car. The paint and lacquer is Halfords (UK brand) and I used Ford signal yellow for the main colour. This is the first car I have done where I have cleared the decals.        A couple more....

 I Remember this you sitting there all day at salisbury show up to your eyes in decals, Turned out superb nice one .didnt see you at yate show why? cheers mate

Looks fantastic, excellent finish, the clear coat looks great and has given me the inspiration to have a go myself having always been a bit wary of ruining a model previously!
Got a red Vergokan version to do in my collection!

I can't say I love corollas or 206 but I love so much all Vale's stuff, mostly colorful: superb model and finishing! Can't wait to see the '04!

I've got this kit and set of decals on my "To Do" pile, these images make me want to break it out and have a go. Best finish the C9 first though...
Very good work by the way, nice to see something different!
