I would go for the focous (sp) over the Escort, but maby thats just me. The Si is also alot more money, and this is the very base model, no bells or thrills. The Zx2 is 14,830 with everything. Infact, the Civic with NOTHING, and I mean not even a tape player with your radio, is -DX Manual Transmission $12,810.00- I do prefer how the civic looks, and the interior, but thats all I can give it.

I don't particularly care for either one, but since the SI would run circles around the ZX2, I voted for the ZX2.

Ok, I forgot, honda is the almighty car which can never be beaten
That Si has 30 more Hp and 5 more Foot Pounds of torque, and it also weighs 266pounds MORE than the Zx2, so in the end they are almost exactly even aside from looks. The Si -cant- run circles around the Zx2, in the hands of a good or decent driver -should- beat it, but thats about it. Oh, and course the $6149 youll save will get you enough performance to smoke the Si like it wasnt trying. But I forgot, import is king.

I don't really think that 266 pounds more is going to make up for the power the Civic is producing. Probably the Civic will win. Blah.

I realy don't care for either one. I had a 97 Honda Civic and I really hated it. I have drivin the ZX2 and its worse then the Civic. So my vote is the ZX2.

Everyone has their opinions...One of my friends from long ago would have heated debates with me on the Ford-Chevy issue. Me a 65 Mustang, him a wanna be Chevy cruiser. We went to look at a 68 390 4-speed fastback for sale. He bitched and complained that it was a Ford until he test drove it, he bought it! Every car has it's postive side, but give me a sink you ass into the seat V8 torquer everytime! Hearing a blender whinning down the strip just doesn't seem right, but that's just me.
