The back bumper sucks. After you take the two screw on each side behind the tire, there are 2 brass colored nuts under plastic flaps that you can just rip off. Then just take them off and its falls right off.

I wouldn't recommend painting your plastic bumpers. If they're not factory painted it will start to look real crappy after a while. There's nothing you can do to make paint stick to them permanently.

i just painted mine with Dupli-color bumper paint. Not sure how regular paint will hold. The back I took off the whole bumper and the front I just taped off the car and painted it right on the car. I painted them last night and checked it out this morning. Looks great! I went from that grey color to the black and I am very happy with the outcome. Good luck. Oh, one more thing. The bumper paint has "flex" in it. Flex makes the paint flexible which is what is need for bumpers. If you paint it with regular paint maybe you should get it custom made and have them add flx if they will.

Actually I painted my own bumpers and I have had no problems with paint coming off of them. If you prepare it correctly you will be ok. I however should re-do my back bumper since I ran out of paint and it looks like total ass.
