Hesitation problems on my 93 zx.

I have a 1993 300zx and stalls or hesitates sometimes, not all the time.
It does it when acceleration is slightly under 3000 rpm. I hope you have
some ideas or suggestions of what it can be. I afraid to take it to a shop
where they might not know exactly what it is and get rip off.

I have been having this same problem with my car, it seems to hesitate right around 2.5 rpms and then goes away once i hit 3. I went and had my injectors cleaned which it needed anyway and that seemed to have worked for about a day or two then it went right back to the same old same old. So this doesnt really answere your question but it might save you some money.

It's eaither:

1. Injectors- Depends on how many miles you have??

2. PTU- This is what sends the spark to your plus make sure it is well connected and dry and no wirs are fraid.

3. Bad plugs.

4. Coil pack.

There are of course some other things it could be but those are the most likly ones.

Hesitation on my G20 too

Hey there, I have the same problem with my G it seems to hesitate when cold between 2500 to 3000 rpm once it warms up it goes away. Also I had my injectors cleaned and my 02 sensore replaced it worked for a few days and went back to the hesitation. I read that it might be the EGR valve and or sensor. I have not had time to check this nor do I know if you car has these but after 60K miles they semm to go bad and need to be changes Just my two cents but worth loking into.

G

it's on the front of you timing belt cover on the left side. It has a bunch of wires pluged into it. and has 4 gold screw's holding it on.

well i went to my z guy to pick up my car, just had the drive shaft replaced with a single aluminum one, and he said that a lot of the time its in the wiring of the car that makes it bog down so to speak. he told me he would run a diagnostics test on everything, clean all my connections and check all my connections for about 100 dollars, anyone think its worth it, i already spent 50 on getting my injectors cleaned

I personaly would do it my self but if you don't feel like it or don't have the time I would say it's worth it. Not sure on the 100 buck. I have no idea what something like that should cost.
