Hesitation problems w/ 99 Maxima SE
Hey Guys, this is my first posting.
I have a '99 Maxima SE with 42K miles. I love the car except for an intermittent hestitation problem that been there since nearly day-1 and has gradually become worse. The best way for me to simulate the problem is to come to a quick stop and start, where I will see the tach jump from 1 to 2K before the transmission kicks in. I am no mechanic, but this to me suggests a problem with the transmission itself, but what the problem is, I have no idea. I have had the car in the shop at least 2 times, but thave yet to get Nissan Service to acknowledge that a problem even exists. They probably only run their diags, drive it around the block, and tell me it drives normal. It's frustrating, and I need to get it fixed while it's still under warrenty..
Is this a common or known problem with this car? I've only seen a couple of similar posts.
I would welcome any comments or suggestions from any experts here..
Thanks in advance
