Tips for painting tire lettering and moldings
A good way that I have found to paint tire lettering and molding is by using a cigarette filter. It takes a little practice at first so try it on something your not going to use till you feel comfortable with it. It makes quick clean work with the project.

Okee Dokee
with the filter you just dob over the surface you are painting only enough times to get the color on if you touch the same spot to many times you will just soak the paint back into the filter if you need to put a few touch ups on it wait till the paint dries out a little so you don't pull it back off you do not have to press the filter onto the surface you just have to touch it. When the filter seems like it is running out of paint just squeeze it and more will come out. you should tear off about 1/16 of an inch of paper from the end you are going to paint with, and you can only use them once. If you don't smoke zig-zag or top sells filters for rolled cigs. Just dip the end in the paint and leave it for a second to soak it up. If you have any questions just ask. Sorry so vague the first time.
