Fuel Economy Tips for a Jeep Wrangler 2009?

Ive been trying to get into the fuel saving groove lately; before I spend money on various upgrades and weight removal etc...

Has anyone actually found something that significantly (by there reckoning) reduces their fuel consumption?

looking on the internet ive found websites like www.fuelthoughts.com which have a pretty good list of tips; but upgrades like engine chipping just seem a bit over the top to me.
