Primer is good, but you need to sand the plastic down if it has no texture to it (its smooth) Then be sure when you are painting your shit that you use LIGHT coats

Also try using an adhesion promoter (spelling on those? lol) Should help it stick - just make sure you get the right color paint too!

Im in the process of repainting my interior right now. (I just spent a good 3 hours trying to get my dashboard off... by far the hardest and most tedious thing ive ever had to do to my car) If you just do a really good job at painting, being very precise, paitient, and methodical, you're pieces should come out pretty well. Including the primer and clear coats... i put about 10-12 coats of paint on each panel. They come out perfect. Not just pretty good, but perfect. Perfect as in it looks like the piece came straight from a factory in that color. If you put enough coats of everything, especially the clear coat (i recommend at least 5) you shouldn't have too much of a problem with chipping.

Granted, i haven't had the pieces in for too long yet though so im not sure how well it will stand up over time, but right now i couldnt be happier with it.

Just my 2 cents. Hope that helps
