My brother is running dual MTX Thunder 8000 15"s, with a Pioneer deck, I dont know the model but its the newer flip down chrome one. And unfortunarely he is using a 1600 watt American Legacy amp right now, and it is not pushing the subs to their max. It still is very loud though. My friend has double 15" XPlod somethings, and the XPlod 1200 watt amp, and my brothers still puts out more low tones. I would higly recommend all MTX and Rockford Fosgate though. Pioneer internal speakers are also the best in my book. I dont like Sony much for car audio. Apline Type-Rs are known to put out nice bass too. And if you really want to spend money, go for Audiobahn. Some of that shit is so tight...but it costs a bit too much for me.

Audiobahn is not bad in their amp department but their subs aren't the best. Don't get me wrong, they're great subs, but there is better for cheaper. If you can find Memphis, then get two of the Memphis 15HPO 124D subs. To push these the best is also Memphis' 1000D Mono amp. These subs hit HARD! Seriously hard!
