Are you asking to power two 12" kickers AND two 10" MTX's? Cause you should NEVER mix brands and sizes...It sounds like crap. If you run two different sizes and two different brands your going to get two different sound qualities and two different power ratings. I wouldnt even recommend mixing sizes even if they are the same brand. Trust me I've tried it.

But if your asking to power one or the other, it will depend on what type of Kicker or MTX subs they are. What kind of vehicle are they going in? What kind of head unit and speakers do you have? How much are you willing to spend on an amp? Are you going with a sealed or a ported box?

Dude, Do me a favor... dont ever talk again. If you have a 2 or 4 channel bridgible amp, and are powering each set of subs in a series on a seperate channel, its not gonna matter. (given that the subs are svc, or the amp is 2 ohm stable). I have 2 10 inch Alpines, and either a 12 inch fosgate, or a 10 inch audiobahn, depending on how froggy i'm feeling. it dosen't sound like crap i assure you. you jus have to know what you're doing.

Also, i have a friend with 2 alpine type R 10's and one type R 12 in the middle, all ran in a series in believe, sounds decent, and hasn't blown anything up yet in 6 months.

generally, mixing different sub types and sizes is a bad idea. you may not have enough experience at listening to SQ systems to know how bad it sounds when you do that.

Wow someone asked for some input and we give them some advice to keep them from making a catastrophe of there system.

Most people that do the different size subs thing, do it for show. And if you know anything about SQ then you would know it doesnt work.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

what's done for "install show" is mostly just looks ...... those types of vehicles normally score rather poorly at SQ contests. They are normally shops just showing off their install skills at shows.
