The dealership that sold me my 2000 Max went bankrupt and they are gone for good now, and the nearest dealership is a 2 hour drive away(through light traffic). Now I am hearing some clanking noises whenever I accelerate my car and I dont know what to do. It sounds like gears tuning but loudly and I checked all my fluids and they all were perfect. my question is would my warranty work at a local shop or do I need to go to a Nissan Dealership to get it check out and fixed without costing me my left nut?
Thanks in advance

Hmm, I think it would be good at either the dealership...or a local shop that is certified by nissan to deal with that stuff, damn that sucks man

What you might do is call the number for the warranty company and ask them what the nearest shop that the recomend. that might get you a better idea of where to go
