Talking bad idle after changing some vacuum hoses and fuel filter

my name is jamelyn. i spent today changing out various hoses band now my vehicle will start, but it idles rough and i need help. i smell gas
also.

It sounds like your vaccum hoses aren't hooked up properly and there is a leak.

you wont get a gas smell from a vacuum leak. Did you replace the washers when installing the new fuel filter. they a copper crush washers & are good for 1 time:bandit:
