valve cover d16z6
i was told that there are gens of the d16z6 that are Vtec but dont come with Vtec valve cover. I just bought a D16z6 head/intake manifold/throttle body/exhaust manifold/ downpipe for 100 bucks and the guy swears its vtec but it dont have the vtec valve cover. it came from a 94 civic.
anyways, if anybody needs a d16z6 hydraulic tranny or engine block holler at me and i'll see if i cant get it for cheap... |

out of all the 92-00 sohc vtec cars....I believe only the 95 (and some 94s?) had vtec stamped on the valve cover...weird, but I'm sure the engine is vtec....to be sure, look for the vtec solenoid behind the dizzy...

Yeah, the D16Y8 I'm buying from a 98 EX doesn't have V-Tech on the valve-cover either.
