where to get d16z6 VTEC valve cover

im tired of all the dumbasses telling me "hey you dont have VTEC or it would say it on the motor"

where can i get a VTEC d16z6 valve cover besides from the honda dealer?

Lol, I hated that when I had the z6 swap in my old hatch.

Try the parts trader, or ebay.

Speaking of ebay, I just sold my HF manifold for $112, when I pulled it from the junkyard for $14

I know they have at least one more.

get this, my friends girl has a 94 Teg GS, and this dude at her work said, "its not DOHC or it would say on the motor!!!!"

I always have good luck with the 'wanted' section on www.thepartstrader.com ...in fact, I think I had an ad for a 'vtec' valve cover once and got lotsa responses

Yeah try ebay, or try a local junkyard they may swap you v/c.Or next time point out the vtec solenoid.Tell your g/f to pop the hood and show them the double humps on the motor and ask them WTF is this then...lol

how about u just quit showing your motor to dumbasses. I didnt even know you could use an a6 valve cover on a z6 head.

....you cant, its just that the majority of sohc vtec valve covers dont have 'vtec' stamped on top of em...I think only like the 94-95's came with those vc's....
