Did you check ALL the pads? Similar thing happened to me, brakes were grinding, so I checked my pads, and they looked fine, but when I pulled off the calipers, the inside pads were down to bare metal...

squeaking brake can alos happen as a result of brake dust on the rotor or drum. you should spray the brakes down with brake cleaner and and then drive it and see if it still happen

Another possibility is that the pads were either installed without using anit-squeal/brake quiet compound or that the stuff needs to be redone (rare). Also check that there is a little anti-seize on the backing plate edge; there is a tab area about 3/4" long and the compound goes on the edge.
Squealing is also due to pads that are glazed from improper break-in or over heating. For your benefit: My tech recommends that Honda pads be beeded in by driving the car at 40mph and stopping smoothly 3 times-each application should be for about 10 seconds and you need to allow for a little cooling. Do this process several addtional times, park the car to allow everything to cool down and then drive gently for 100 miles.
