RSX Type S
Have any of you raced a Type-S RSX. I was with a friend the other night (has a bone stock '97 Max AT) rolling the strip when a bright blue Type-S pulls up (intake, full exhaust, small kit, wheels, lowered). It was real clean, the best looking Teg/RSX I've seen. Anyway, we hit the red a few lights down. Bamm! We both take off, with the Max taking a small lead, inching ahead everytime the RSX shifts. We race a few more lights, the AT Max taking it everytime. After the last light, he leans out the window and yells "I only have a four cylinder!". Only a four cylinder? I started laughing. He has one of Honda's best 4 bangers next to a TypeR and S2000. It was pretty funny. A ? though, what's the best way to launch an AT Max?

the best way launch in an AT is to brake torque it. By that I mean hold the brake, and hit the gas lightly (not so the car moves, but to get up a few thousand RPM, then when the light goes green, slam the gas the rest of the way down while taking your foot off thebrake.
