should i get a RSX or RSX TYPE-S?

i am not a drag racer, and i dont usually drive fast on the street. So my question is will i feel much power different between the RSX(5spd manual) and RSX TYPE-S during the normal daily drive??

Is RSX(5spd manual) consider a slow car?

Unfortunately, you won't feel much of a power difference in daily driving between the base and the type-s. However, take the Type-S above 6000 rpm and you'll know where the extra 40 horses are. Since you said you don't like to drive fast, the base would probably be a good fit...

I have the base RSX, i do like to drive fast and i wish i got the Type S, however, if u just want something to cruise around and impress the ladies, then get the BASE, however, if u even think about doing some dippin in and out on the highway, or street racing to the next light, then hit the Type S. Basically, like my man said, u wont notice a difference til u get above 55oo rev's.

Yeah, the Type R is better in terms of power, however, the Type S has better handling. You said ur not a speed demon, u just want something to drive that's reliable and all (and i know u want to impress the ladies), so if you want power Type R, which wont come to America for a while, if you want excellent handling and good power, 20hp less than the Type R, then get the Type S. If you want an overall good car that has 40hp less than the Type S and 80hp less than the Type R, but still has better handle, then get the BASE RSX. Oh yeah, and just to let you know, the 2004 RSX won't hit showrooms til september 2004. Peace
