Are you stock? If so, NO2 is a horrable idea, heads and headers, would give you FAR more than nitrous could add, and it would be about as expensive and also wouldnt blow your engine. A 25hp to -MABY- a 50hp boost could be held on a 4.6 You could go DOHC with your 4.6 which would help alot. Thats alot of the glory of the 281, its modular, you can make it to cobra specs, which for the 4.6 is quite impressive. And with the chip, as I mentioned in another post, it will kill your tranny, get a shift kit, and have the computer flashed at a dyno. You can have your shift points changed then, and also the firmness set higher with a quicker shift. Otherwise your firming the shift with the chip and the tranny wont have the right equipment to shit at that speed, it will still try to slip over the clutch and force the pressure through the old valve body, causing it to split the seals if your lucky, if not one of many things can go wrong in there.

Edelbroc 50shot NO2 is around what, 675 (too lazy to look it up atm)
and the chip is 500 or so, depending on which you get

Well, look at this

Heads from fordracing 1400 for 2 complete 4valve doubble overhead cam heads
hooker headers 300
shift kit 40
tranny cooler 40

so 1175 for a way to take off 25,000 to 50,000 miles from your engine

or 1780 to get a good 50-100 hp and thats increased power throughout -all- your powerband. Also you have firmer shifts, quicker, and higher on the rpm, far longer tranny life too.

www.zex.com might have something
http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/index.html will most likley have something

www.jegs.com will have just about anything you want

actually, cobra is SVT (Special Vehicle Team) And yah, Nitrous Oxide Systems was actually founded by Mickey Tompson if I rember correctly, he was the first to use NO2 in his vehicles to raise the Oct rating.
