hey guys.. my rockford sub to put lightly sucks.. i was thinking of rejuicing it with another amp, but does anyone know the power handling capabilities of the factory sub??? if i run it with a punch 100, you guys think it can take it?? thanks for the help

well, it might handle it, but i don't think it'd be worth the money. its just a little eight. that thing isn't gonna hit like you want. if you don't want big bass i would recommend getting a couple of tens. nice tight clean bass, but not really deep and blinding. but i dont think it'd be a good idea to amplify the eight....but its up to you dawg....i might be wrong.

you can go on to www.crutchfield.com to find the correct info on the base model speaker we have in our Vs. You can request for one of their catalogs and all the info you need is in that catalog too. That company will assist you with everything if you purchase from them.
