Interior Panels

I wanna do my interiour of the car although I don't wanna ruin what is stock. So I have 2 ideas. Find a dealer that sells the dash/panelings whatnot or make them.

How would I go about makin them though? well my idea is this. Make a mold of the inner most panel, the backside with the braces and holes whatnot on it. And then from that make the custom panel out of fiberglass would this work? What should I use to mold the panels, how can I not damage them and have a good panel? any ideas?

Here's an idea...
taped up styrofoam?

Anyway, custom-made fiberglass panels have been done... Team Prototype has been making them for a while.

If you're planning to d.i.y., anticipate bondo/sanding work to make it flow well.

i don't want to make a new thread for something just as similar, but i have another question relating to the Interior Panels.

i decided to paint some parts in the interior white, but keep the stock color also. there are vents by the airbag and such that i want to paint, but i don't have the slightest clue how they come out, or if they do? i own a 95 civic DX, so if anyone know's how to get them out please please please, explain thanks in advance.

he can paint them white now, as long as he changes the color after labor day.

Fiberglass is like a canvas, it will be whatever you want it to be. It doesn't have to be shiny if you don't want it to be.
