How soon before we see the EVO 7 Extreme or EVO 8?

I am interested in purchasing the EVO 7 but was also wondering when the EVO 7 Extreme will be available. Also how about the EVO 8?
I dont want to buy the EVO 7 and next thing you know the EVO 7 Extreme comes out or even the EVO 8!
Was wondering how much more does the Extreme versions cost.
For example the EVO 6 and the EVO 6 Extreme.
Im a type of person who hates to drive older versions of cars
Especially when im gonna fork out 80k US. dollars.

Thanks for your Response..
Nice webpage by the way, very useful :smoker2:

AFAIK Ralliart UK already have made a EVO VII extreme. On a UK BBS someone reported that the press already had taken the car out as a demonstrator. There also is a 340 HP conversion kit available already.

EVO VIII might be a while. Now that Mitsubishi has changed to the WRC ruling, there's less need to upgrade the streetlegal versions that quickly.

i dont think we will see another Evo for a while. The Evo VII is still too fresh.. Theres hardly any other new models of it that are official..

The Evo VIII looks to be a Late 2003 Idea.. maybe a Midyear 2004 production.

Good to hear that. Now I feel a bit better. So how much does the Extreme kit cost? Anyone have an estimate?

Oh my mistake, in Malaysia the EVO 7 GSR cost 68k not 80k US. dollars.

Thanks

Price to be expected around UKP 46,000. BTW there is a Extreme based on the EVO VI available second hand through Ralliart UK. Price is a bit inder UKP 33,000.
