Hey everyone I was just wondering if you could explain how Hondas active torque transfer system (on the prelude SH) differs from a limited slip differential? Is it better? What type of a fifth Generation Lude would be better for boosting a standard model or the SH model? Thanks for your help, I just wanted to know because im thinking of buying a fifth generation prelude in the near future

the atts works like this. it transfers torque to the outer wheel when you're cornering. it'll pull the front of the car into the turn givin you a RWD-like feel. you're aware of the typical FWD understeer right? the ATTS basically eliminates that. i suggest you try it out.
for boosting, i would just suggest you get the base. i mean i have an SH and it's boosted but save the money and just get a base if you're planning on boosting. the atts is incapable of handling too much power (250hp at the wheels seems to be the limit) |
