freaking awesome: lude vs. lude
alright peoplez, i went to the track yesterday and saw a white 5th gen like mine. after i finished tech inspection i waited for him to make a run then lined up next to him. he said it'd be awesome to run together since its almost the exact same car (97 and 99) and almost the same mods (headers-CAI and shortram-catback). What followed was tons of neck-neck fun
![]() Me --- Him ============= 15.78 --- 15.89 15.82 --- 15.72 15.67 --- 15.73 I'd like to point out that we were both running the front tires at 25psi, and we weren't burning out. He had a slight advantage over me because he was running on an almost empty tank and no spare tire, while i had 3/4 of a tank and my spare. i'm figuring i was about 80 pounds heavier than him since its about 7 gallons of extra gas i had and each gallon is 8 pounds, and the spare weights about 20-odd pounds i guess on a side note...i saw an old accord with a JDM H22A running 14.4 (no p/s, a/c, or interior [just the shifter & shift knob, a seat and harness, and the gauge cluster]) my two other runs were bad, and it wasn't against the lude. i raced a stang gt who ran 15.30 and a WRX who ran 15.0

Re: freaking awesome: lude vs. lude
It is always nice to have some close competition rather than beating someone real bad or getting beat real badly. There is more excitement in a close race IMHO
On a side note there was a wrx running 15.0? Must have been a really bad driver lol

Re: freaking awesome: lude vs. lude
you know...this is the second time i go to the track and the second time i post my times. This time, I even got the times of another prelude, but i bet you people will still ask what the time of the average lude is.
