Vtec not working!? (Again)

Well its not working again... I finished putting my new clutch in. I got code 17 (VSS) took it out and found out that the wire came loose off the end so I resaudered it. I had code 7, 15 and 17 code 7 is tps. BAH!! I know the ecu needs signals from the tps, coolant temp, VSS and other sensors before vtec will engage but I really don't want to buy a new TB just for the damn sensor. I know my vtec isn't working first off because I hear no POP when it engages and its slow as hell now after 5,000 RPM. anyone know what I can do besides buy a TB or can anyone *Gank* one from a junk yard and I'll pay em for it? LOL. STEALING IS BAD!!! We don't have any import junkyards in MI so someone get one and I'll pay for it. Its a b16a in a CRX so any B series will do. Thanks for any advise!!

my tps falls out constantly and it doesn't fuck anything up for me..... well not the sensor but the wire itself i gotta crimp it to stay on.... check and see if the wire just fell off first, even tho that hasn't affected my engagement, but i dunno.

Well the wiring harness seems okay. I figured out if the initial reading off the sensor seems good then vtec will kick. If it is bad it won't. I had no check engine light on and when I hit 8000 rpm the light would come on but the vtec will still work. now when I start the car up it the light comes on right away and that was when I lost vtec. I love your car because its just like mine!! lol. Mines same yellow WW body kit, WW supra style spoiler, Ground control coil overs, ctp pistons... etc etc... pics soon! YOU STOLE MY DAMN CAR!!!
