i am in serious need of a new hood for an 89 crx... custom or normal, not to much$... nothing over $160 after shipping cause i can get one for cheaper than that around here... but just thought i would give it a try and see if i can find one for cheaper... thanks

Hood
There is an aftermarket supplier of hoods called GSM here and they are supposed to be regional/national. Pricing is in the range of $125 for an exact replacement steel hood. (This versus about $250 for a Honda one.) Just put one on the CRX and the fit and finish are very good.
If you use a search, you will find a number of dealers supplying both new and used parts. I'm sure you can find a supplier in your area.
